The third round of the King of Drift, named as Night Battles, brought fans one of the most spectacular events of the season. Under the laser lights, the atmosphere, the intensity, and the level of driving combined to create a night that will be remembered for years to come.
The semi-finals featured two battles that perfectly represented both the future and the present of Georgian drifting.
On one side of the bracket, two of the championship's brightest young talents, Ilia Beridze and Lazare Sadaghashvili, faced each other in an emotional and incredibly close battle. Both drivers demonstrated exceptional car control, commitment, and determination, proving that the next generation of drift stars has truly arrived. Their duel was one of the highlights of the night and earned huge applause from the spectators.
On the opposite side, the reigning King of Drift Champion, Giorgi Kodua, went head-to-head with the experienced Sevastian Malikhyn. It was a battle worthy of a final, with both drivers pushing to the absolute limit. After an intense exchange of runs, Malikhyn secured his place in the final.
The championship-deciding battle saw youth challenge experience as Ilia Beridze faced Sevastian Malikhyn for the Round 3 victory. In an outstanding performance, the 17-year-old Beridze kept his composure, delivered two exceptional runs, and claimed his King of Drift Round victory.
The Night Battles once again proved why King of Drift continues to raise the standard of drifting. Passion, fierce competition, unforgettable battles, and a new generation of talent made this event a true celebration of motorsport.
