On September 22, on Rustaveli International Motorpark (Georgia) will be held an amateur competition in the circuit race called "Koteta Cup 2019". The race has no analogue worldwide, as it is held in the form of a professional circuit race, including non-racing cars. Anyone can drive a 2WD (front or rear wheel drive) car on the basis of a driving license only.
The car must be serially manufactured, technically tuned and must at least be fitted with a minimum standard seat belt
The participant is obliged to have racing or motorcycle helmet.
Registration - 12:00 to 13:00
Event start - 13:00
Qualifying - from 13:00 to 14:45
Qualifying race - 15:00 - 15:30
Final race - 16:00 - 16:30
Awarding at 17:00
The qualification will be held as follows - each participant will go through 2 complete laps from which the best time of the lap will be recorded as the qualifying time.
The top 16 goes in the final race.
From 17 to 37 (20 participants) will take part in the qualifying race out of which 4 will advance to the final.
Participants in the final race will be eligible for the 16 best qualifying scores plus the 4 best qualifying race participants.
The event is held under the auspices of the Levan Kotetishvili Foundation, in accordance with the current regulations of the Georgian Automobile Sport Federation (GASF)
Traditionally we will have gifts and prizes for the spectators.
Tires - Allowed with no more than Max Performance tires classified! No slicks, semi-slicks, "Track Day", "Competition" and similar tires!
